During the 21st Feb~23rd Feb Exhibition, an Origami (Paper folding) & Furoshiki (Wrapping things with Japanese style cloth ) workshop and a Kirie (Paper Cutout) workshop will be held at the Yoga studio.
The Origami & Furoshiki workshop will be held on the 21st , to mark the closing of our Reception Party. It will be performed by the students of Mr. Kansho Miyashita. They have been contributing in many ways to prepare for this day. You can actually experience to hand make cute Origami works of your own, using beautifully colored paper! You can also get close to one of the amazing Japanese cloth culture by watching the Furoshiki wrapping performance. Their Calligraphy Art works are a must see attraction too.
In the afternoon of the 22nd, the Kirie (Paper Cutout) workshop by Ms. Kirie Kanon will be taking place.
Seeing the beautiful bright colors standing out from a black background, you must wonder “How on earth is this made?” It will be a wonderful chance to get close and experience a new expression of pictorial art, the “Kirie”.
You are most welcome to experience the wonder of paper, and create a precious art piece of your own.
