Having ended the Exhibition

To all guests who attended our venue, and all personalities involved in contributing to this event.

The three days Exhibition and Reception Party took place in a Hideaway in Ubud Bali, as known as “Michi Retreat”. Our participants were Master Kansho Miyashita who is a Temple Master in Taima Temple Soinin in Nara Prefecture along with his students, and also Ms Kanon a Kirie (Paper Cutout) artist. Luckily the weather was fair during these three days, and we would like to thank those who came all the way to Ubud in spite of the burning heat.

Talking about those who came all the way, Master Kansho Miyashita with his students and Kirie Artist Ms Kanon had come all the way from Japan. Master Kansho and his students successfully hosted the crowd with some wonderful Suiboku-ga( Ink painting), Calligraphy, Ikebana(Flower Arrangement), some colorful Origami (Paper folding) works and very beautiful Furoshiki (Folding things with Japanese style cloths) works. As for Ms Kanon, though she wasn’t feeling so well on the second day, hosted a one hour workshop which was highly appreciated by the local University students who were delighted to experience the crafting of Kirie art.
Guests who visited were multinational, from all over the world and the normally quiet “Michi Retreat” was filled with much joy and laughter. Those who had the chance to feel the Japanese Culture, and also the owner of Michi Retreat Professor Kung seemed extremely excited about the whole event.
Anyhow, the three days Exhibition was a great success and I would like to express my gratitude for allowing me to be in charge of the event. From the producer’s point of view, it has been an amazing experience to view all the great works of art and to see the forefront of “Michi Retreat”. I would like to conclude by indicating that this was definitely an inspiring experience.
                                                                     Regards,
Organizer and all persons involved
